Who are we?
Rectal microbicide development involves scientists, researchers, advocates and most important, research participants who volunteer. Our group is comprised of researchers focused on HIV prevention- in particular for men who have sex with men.

We represent domestic and international sites including Pittsburgh, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico. We are working together, blending scientific and behavioral data, to develop practical and effective microbicides.

Our focus is not limited to what happens in the laboratories. We work closely with our research participants and the communities they represent. Rectal microbicide studies give people an opportunity to be involved in developing HIV prevention tools intended to impact the lives of men and women, worldwide.
